Stewardship
The Stewardship committee at St. Paul’s is in fact a Christian education group. We help the congregation grow in their understanding of, and uses for, the gifts that God has given all of us. We develop programs to make use of those gifts for furthering His work in our community and the world.
As part of our work, we plan for the offering of our gifts in worship and the celebration of that offering during the Church year.
We also act as volunteer coordinators, channeling information about our congregation’s skills, talents and offerings to the various committees, groups and individuals who can best use those gifts.
The members of the committee are different from year to year so that fresh skills and gifts are always coming on line in the committee. Everyone in the congregation should serve on this committee at some time. The experience and opportunity for Christian growth in serving on the Stewardship committee is invaluable.
